We are full transparency, our prices and packages are right here!

Do you travel?

Yes we do, we live in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Being on the border of all three states makes us available for the Baltimore, DC and Northern Virginia areas as well as Charlottesville. We do charge extra for travel for anything outside our 90 mile radius.

Do you do LGBTQ weddings/elopements?

HECK YES. Here at Love & Sol Photography we believe LOVE IS LOVE. No discrimination here.

Are you Licensed Drone Pilots?

Yes! We are BOTH licensed pilots with the FAA and can operate unmanned aircraft (drones) in accordance with the FAA part 107.

This also means we carry general liability and drone insurance. Our drone is outfitted with rotor guards to fly around people/events and is equipped with lights to fly at night.

*No flight is guaranteed, every flight is airspace and weather permitting.

How do we reserve our wedding date?

Please visit the book a wedding page and fill out the inquiry.

If we have your date available, we will email over your link to your perfect package, you’ll be able to sign your contract, fill out your short questionnaire and submit your 40% initial payment of your invoice. You will receive your payment schedule for your 3 remaining 20% payments towards your balance so you can stay on budget. Once all of those things are completed we will place your wedding date on our calendar!

We will be checking in with you all along the way at 6 months, 3 months and 1 month out. You will receive a short questionnaire 3 months before your wedding day. Around 1 month out we will have a phone call meeting to go over your wedding day timeline and where your portrait sessions fit in with your day.

The week prior we will check in to see if you are okay. Just breathe.

How do we reserve a session with you?

First please visit the book a session page and fill out the inquiry.

After we discuss location/activity and dates we will send you a short questionnaire about your family to help us do our job better.

Payment is due in full to reserve your date, dates can be rescheduled due to weather or illness.

ARE YOU LICENSED AND INSURED?

Yes! If your wedding venue requests to see our proof of insurance we are covered! Just let us know their email address and we can send over all of our paperwork. We are licensed and have general liability and drone insurance.

Will we get the print release for our photos?

Yes! No matter what type of session or wedding, upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.

How many weddings are you taking on in a year?

We only take on 20 weddings/elopements a year. That way, we can invest in everything that we do. That way, we can be there for our clients. That way, we have enough time for self-care, mental health days and quality time with our family so when we show up, we really show up.

How many photos will we get?

We average around 50-100 finals per hour. However, each wedding/session is unique and we always make sure to capture plenty of photos for each moment. We are story tellers so we are going to have enough curated photos to tell your complete story from beginning to end, all of it.

Do you deliver raw photos?

We don’t ever give out RAW photos. Every photo you receive will be edited to ensure consistency in colors, brightness and mood.

What is your turn around time?

For sessions, our promise is 2-3 weeks. For elopements and weddings, our promise is 3-8 weeks.

We can’t promise anything shorter because we invest so much time into creating GIFs, double exposures and creative art for our clients. Honestly, you have the rest of your life to look at these photos, so we want to make sure every single photo we deliver is something we are proud of. We want to make sure you get the best of us and not something we have to rush in order to meet some crazy fast deadline.

Do you photoshop your clients?

Our photography is about celebrating love and authenticity. We want you to know that you are beautiful because we are all unique and different and important. We will never photoshop anything that is part of your identity. We won’t photoshop to alter what is real and true for you. However, we do adjust the tonality to correct for any lighting issues, we correct the color and we put a look on them. We will photoshop out temporary blemishes like bruises and acne, any clothing tags or strange shapes like a huge phone in your pocket and anything distracting in the background, like tourists. And of course, we will always ask you about your favorite side so we can pose you in a way you feel is more flattering.

What rights do we have?

You will have all rights to download, print, and use your photos for personal purposes. Love & Sol retains all copyright.

How do we receive our photos?

When the gallery is finished, we will send you a link via email. You can share the link with friends and family. You can also download the whole gallery to your computer high res or to any device low res, perfect for sharing on social media.
